Real time counter on front page

Hello -

Does anyone have any ideas on how to build the functionality to have a real time counter/index on our front page that would pull from a survey?

We have a large campaign to read to children and ask people to return to the site after they have read and post their number of children read to in a survey. We would like a counter on the front page to reflect how many children were read to?

Has anyone used this function or something similar? Convio doesn't have this currently and I am wondering if there is a third party function.

I don't think there is any straightforward way to do this.

One can use the S28 tag to display survey results for a particular question. One might be able to create something in javascript & CSS that hides the results as they would otherwise be displayed in Convio and only shows the number you want.

Otherwise, one could also write a form that first submitted to your own database elsewhere, then submitted to Convio.
