How do I make my HTML email render correctly on my Blackberry or Mobile Device?

Options

Right now there is no way to ensure that any email client views the HTML how you want it to be viewed. In addition to this, Blackberries and Mobile Devices do not run on supported operating systems.  They may have Windows, but it is a different version of Windows that is tailored to work for your device.

The best suggestion is to use trial and error methodology. Since no email client, especially mobile versions of such clients, render HTML the same as other email clients, there is no across-the-bard solution.

  • Hello!  Has anyone figured out a work around for this problem?  Like linking to a version of the text-only e-mail?  I'd love to know how to code a link to the text-only version.

    Thanks!

  • Hi Jessica - this may be late in the replying, but linking is automagic when making an email in the text-only version editor...type out the URL in place of the usual <a> tags --e.g. "Click on http://www.convio.com to jump to our Web-friendly version"
