WYSIWYG Issues

Options

We recently changed our ISP, wiring and wireless networks and now I cannot open any WYSIWYG windows at all.  I can open everything in HTML, but when I try and open a WYSIWYG enabled window it just loads and loads and loads and never appears (literally until I am timed out).  Has anyone experienced this, and if so is there some sort of setting I need to change?

Thanks so much!

  • Which WYSIWYG editor are you using?  (legacy Convio IE-only, or the new cross-platform compatible TinyMCE-based one)

Either way, my first inclination is that there is some sort of security setting that is filtering the pages for some reason.  Try disabling the WYSIWYG editor totally and see if you can load those pages.  After logging in as an Admin, go here: https://secure3.convio.net/care/admin/AdminPreferences  (or click your name in the top right).  Then, uncheck the Use WYSIWYG box and save.  Then, see if you can open any of the pages you couldn't before.

    Let us know what happens...

  • Yikes!  Just realized how long ago you posted your question, too bad no one responded before...

I hope it's already been resolved?

  • Are you by chance using IE8? The legacy WYSIWYG editor has issues with IE8, and you need to set your browser to load convio.net in Compatibility Mode (as described at http://community.customer.convio.com/docs/DOC-2327).
