    Convio does not have a built-in Sales Tax feature. You must purchase the sales tax functionality from the site mentioned above. The starting rate whem I first looked at it was $1700 for up to 2000 transactions. It was suggested to me when I was looking to implement the feature to increase the charges per item and then apply tax correctly per item at the back end. Neither method is a good solution, in my opinion. Note that there is no way to exclude any specific item from being taxed on the website. You must hope that they get it right when the information is processed through the 3rd-party sales tax programs.
