RE-Salutations beginning with "and"

Hi,


I recently noticed a number of records have salutations that begin with "and FN LN" or "and FN LN and Spouse FN LN". I checked our addresee/salutation list in Config, and those options do not appear on that list, only in the drop down in the constituent record. Has anyone seen something like this before?

    Hi Deb Greenberg‍ - This likely has to do with specific configuration elements that have a check box in the "Smart" column and elements that do not. Open the listing in Configuration and double check the additional check marks within the pop-up window. For more information on this and what the extra boxes do, check out KB Article #41476.

    Yes, if the spouse is deceased, or the couple is divorced and the spouse box is unchecked, we see this happening. We must remember to update the salutations to avoid this happening.
