How do we know what target addresses used in convio's database

How do we tell what email address, webform, and or fax number we're sending our alerts to when we use the convio database? This is important when we do coalition work and we want to make sure we're all sending our online actions to the same target address. Does anyone know if we can look up this information anywhere? I've looked and looked but can't see that we have access to this information.

    Hello Kelly,

    I noticed that your question from last year hadn't been answered.

    I agree that it is currently not easy to quickly look up which information Convio stores for a legislator's contact info such as email/webform, telephone number, and district number.  However, it can be done.

    The method I use is to create a PageBuilder page that is in a user-side security category that is restricted to users who are your admins.  General users to your site would not be able to access it, but your admins would have user-side accounts into which they could log in and see the page.

    On that page, put a Find Representatives component.  You can add this component to your PageBuilder page by following the corresponding PageBuilder online help:

    Go to PageBuilder

    Click on Help > Help for this Topic in the top-right menu

    That will bring up the main PageBuilder online help page

    Click on the Adding Content link

    Click on the Providing a Look Up Government Representatives Search Field link

    Follow the directions on that page to add the component

    Publish your PageBuilder page

    Now, as a user, go to that page.  You will see a Find Representatives component.  Enter a zip code (or, if in a split district, a full address), and the component will refresh and show you all the legislators that correspond to that zip code.  For each legislator, their current Home Page (ie website URL), Email Address or Web Form URL, Telephone Number and Fax Number will be listed.  The telephone and fax numbers correspond to the legislator's "capitol" telephone and fax.

    Attached is a small image of what such a Find Representatives component looks like when configured with all options enabled.

    There is also a way to accomplish the same result using Vote Center and legislator scorecards, but it only applies to federal senators and representatives.

    I'll put in a request to add a small feature directly to the admin side to make individual legislator information more easily accessible to admins without having to go to a user-side page as described above.
