how to add State to RSVP event registration form

hello out there!

I've created an RSVP Event:

When you click the "Sign me up" button, it takes you the RSVP Event Form:

http://www2.chofoundation.org/site/Calendar/1808597690

I want to add a required field for "State", but I can't figure out how to manipulate that form.

Anyone know?

But we're using this with a DataSync to Raiser's Edge -- so I'm concerned that doing it as you describe with the "Include Questions" step would create a free-floating bit of data, not a bit a constituent data (their State) that goes through the DataSync the way it does with an eNews registration form or a donation form. Any thoughts?

    When you include a question, you are presented with the option to map that question to a field on the constituent record. So, if you map your question to the State/Province field, and that field comes down in your DataSync, you should be fine.
