Email editor - what do your emails look like?

The Luminate Online (LO) email tool has the option of using a basic WYSIWYG editor or coding the email out. We have had a few email templates built out by a developer and then we use those and update it within the code. There isn't a drag and drop type email tool in LO unfortunately. If you are using the Coaching Email tool under TeamRaiser, it is pretty much what you get with the regular email tool (for setting up the email template).


Blackbaud is looking at replacing the email tool with something similar to what was in Luminate Beta but it won't be for a while yet as they are still developing it.

If you get a chance to try out the Responsive Kit, please post back here in Community and let us know how it goes. We developed those templates to be edited in the WYSIWYG or in the code (or both) and our goal was to make it a little easier to create nice looking emails without having to know code. That being said, knowing some code may help if you want to create your own layouts or customize the templates.


We are always looking for ways to improve, so if you have any feedback after working with the Kit, please let us know!
