Microsoft Azure RE NXT Nightly Backup File Download

Good morning, everyone...

My organization just moved to the Blackbaud Azure environment recently due to the breach.

When were in their previous hosted environment, we had an automated process to pick up backup files.

With the move to Azure, it has proven a little difficult to automate this process.

Have you had any success with the AzCopy utility and Powershell? Or what are you using to download backup files from the Azure environment?

We are in their hosted environment and also want to move to Azure due to the breach. Will we have to do our own backups once we are in the Azure environment? Also, what has your experience been since moving to Azure?

Yes, I've confirmed AZCopy can work. You could also go the automated FTP route. email me if you want more info.

I'd be interested to know if you have gotten a sql RESTORE db FROM URL using the SAS credential to work?
