What is the correct S-tag to give the full amount of a transaction?

We need an invisible S-tag on the Thank You page of our donation forms that returns (but does not display) the full amount of the transaction. I've been using the Transaction Amount tag. It returns test data, but does not appear to return any real transaction data. I thought about using Gift Amount instead.

A person may make a donation to several accounts or "designees" on a single donation form. Will the Gift Amount s-tag return the full value of the transaction, or only the donation to a single designee?

Thank you. That worked. However, I've since discovered that I need to render the amount without a dollar sign. Any ideas on how to do that?

I'm using Omniture Test and Target for A/B testing of content. This script confirms the transactions related to the content:

The extra scripting is to change a "Null" result to zero. Only integers are accepted - hence the problem with $. We tried "slicing" off the $ with Javascript, but you have to break the string and we had no success trying to concatonate the string after breaking it. Need a server-side solution to strip the $.

Note: The script output is not displayed on the webpage, only passed to Omniture.

Oddly, it doesn't return results for any live input. It returns results for test input perfectly. I've checked for the obvious - both the donation forms and the reusable pages containing the code are published, and I can see the code in source view. But no output. Any ideas?

I was wondering if the replaceall command is the issue.

We had a similar response when we were trying to use the transactionAmount tag instead of giftAmount. (i.e. - it worked in test, but failed to return results for real data).

I just ran a live transaction, viewed source, and I see the following:

One thing -- you may want to remove the ], or at least move it outside the script tags (e.g. in an HTML comment). That is causing a JavaScript error.
