donation notifications - level vs. amount

Donation notification as follows:

Is the difference between donation level and amount because of any of the following:

  • a prechecked donation amount on the donation form?
  • a link directly to the donation level?
  • the use of a custom monetary value?



We can't really answer the custom monetary value on our own because we only have Campaign Name and never Form Name

And we have 4 forms within a campaign with different uses of custom monetary values.

Any ideas?

    I took a peek at the donation forms in the campaign referenced in the notification, and it looks like while $100 is the name of the Donation Level, the actual value is dynamically calculated based on a custom field on the donor's record. So in this case, it seems the donor had $250 in that field, which was then increased by 100% to $500, thus the amount.

    To clarify, the specific form I looked at was 3WDE10031SX3X: Make a Wildlife-Saving Year-End Gift (122609).
