How do I get Suggested Messages to show when I choose to "send an email to your team"?

A team captain is prompted to send an email to his/her team, but i keep getting sent to a page that has a "Suggested Messages" box that is empty. The suggested messages appear on the individual participant page without fail. Is there another place to enter team-specific suggested messages? Or, is there a way to enable individual participant suggested messages for teams? Can attach screen shots if it's helpful.

Jen,

The only messages that show up when one clicks "Send an email to your team" are those in the Message Type "Other". Messages that are set to Message Types "Recruit Team Members", "Solicit Gifts", or "Thank You" are not shown, since those messages aren't really something a captain would send to their team members.
