Email Letters from constituent record in RE database

Is there a way to email the one off letters that I generate from the letter menu in a constituent record in RE database? I have tried this once the letter is generated using the "share" option in Word, the letter becomes an attachment that I send to myself, but it is never received. Am I missing a step? Is this even a possibility? Is it perhaps a configuration issue on my part? Thank you for any help you may have, and I wish you a great day!

Hi TINA DION‍ ?,

I don't know if Blackbaud configures the hosted version of Outlook within RE for you by default. It sounds like you may have already set up an Outlook account but it may not be connected to anything. The workaround is to download the letter to your machine and email it from your machine vs directly form in RE.

Contact Blackbaud support or search kb.blackbaud.com to see if Blackbaud can or will set Outlook up so you can email directly from within RE.
