Tracking visitors to donation pages who exit without donating

Does anyone have experience with tracking visitors to a donation page who exit the form without donating?

    You should be able to do that with Google Analytics' Goals - specifically the 'Abandoned Funnels' report. (Basically you are looking at how many hit the form without winding up on the Thank You page.)

    can you please direct me how to set goals, for example a goal of a thank you donation page would not work because of the form id and the constituent id
