How long is the usual delay of a scheduled email message?

We just migrated from GetActive to Convio, so I'm new to this system. I read the document that explains that a scheduled email goes into the queue to be delivered by the Convio servers. How long does it usually take between the scheduled delivery time and the actual delivery time? The last email I sent was delayed by about 20 minutes. This morning, it's been 50 minutes and I'm still waiting. At least in GetActive, when I scheduled an email, it went out within a couple minutes of the scheduled delivery time.

    Most of the time, the emails will go out as scheduled.  Sometimes I believe the servers get backed up (I'm sure Convio has a more techical term) so our emails go out in the order they are queued.  I always watch closely to make sure my emails go out when I expect them to, especially those that are time sensitive.  I try to send most of mine out early in the morning, say by 9 am CST.  (One time I found I scheduled the wrong day, so you can always check that as well.)  I would call support and open a ticket if these are time sensitive.  They can at least be looking at the current queue.

    I'm still wondering how often this happens to other people. Are certain days or times worse than others?
