Where do Solicit codes hide?

Options
I am trying to clean up our solicit codes. I went to delete one and received an error message 'this table entry cannot be deleted because it is in use'.

I have run a query to find any record that this solicit code might be on, and it comes up with '0' records. Where else could the solicit code be?

  • If you go to Config -> Tables -> Solicit Code -> Table Cleanup... you will get a popup window that shows all the places in RE (in theory) where that table is used (right hand side of the popup window)..
  • When you use a table code in a query's criteria and delete the code, the query criteria holds the place and replaces it with "deleted".  I don't believe this is the case with exports.  You may want see if you are using that code in any of your exports.

Do you have any consent tracking set up?  If they are part of consent configurations, I suspect they cannot be deleted.  That's the only thing I can think of.

  • Thank you everyone for your suggestions.

So far I have checked exports, consent tracking, constituent batches, and had no luck.

I have looked at the table cleanup but it shows that they are used in 'Solicitors' which makes no sense to me - screenshot attached.

In the meantime, I have logged a support ticket with Blackbaud hoping that they will be able to assist me (fingers crossed).

I will update again if I manage to get this resolved.

  • I don't suppose you use the solicit code table as the source for any attributes? I don't think that would be visible in the Table Cleanup list.
