Query for date constituent was added to current prospect status

Options
We're wanting to track the length of time each assigned constituent is spending in a prospect status - without having to view their individual profiles (and not as an aggregate status average).  To that end, I'd hoped to create a query in RE7 to pull (output) the date the prospect status was last changed (or added), but I don't even see that as an option.  My only option is the prospect status itself - no other information about it.  Whereas, for example, "last action" comes with two dozen or so sub-points that can be queried, such as the date an action was added, by whom, etc.  I know that RENXT is tracking the number of days spent in each status, but lists don't give me the granularity to view/export that information.  Am I overlooking something really obvious?  Or is there perhaps a convoluted way of accomplishing this?.

Because the date assigned to the prospect status change only "lives" in webview - it does not write back to database view - you can only extract it from webview.  I don't see it as an available field to view in any lists, so I don't think there is an easy way to do this.  There are ways, of course, but not easy ways!  They would involve additional coding that staff would have to add whenever they update a prospect status, for instance.

Hopefully it will be coming before too long.  There is an idea in the idea bank without a lot of traction.  I would publicize it like crazy and see if you can get more votes on it.  The ID is RE-I-4402 or you could search "prospect status days" to find it.

  • We don't have NXT, so the way we track this is by adding an action whenever the status changes, with an action attribute to say what the new status is. The advantage of recording the new status on the action rather than the old one is that if someone forgets to add the action then the attribute on a prospect's latest status change action won't match their current status, and we can pick those up in an exceptions report.
