I have recently commenced working in the Trusts & Foundations portfolio and am interested in hearing how other nfp's use Razers Edge in managing their grants process.  In particular, does RE have a 'grants' module?

    Hello Amanda,

    My organization is very new to Raiser's Edge and we are still getting set up, but we were told by a consultant to use the "opportunities" section of RE NXT to manage grants. I am still figuring out how to do this for us, but so far I can tell you that we have created 5 "Opportunity Statuses" (built in database view as "Proposal Status")

    1 - Cultivation/Pre-Application

    2 - Solicitation/Application

    2 a - Pending

    3 a - Verbal Commitment

    3 b - Support Rejected

    4 - Stewardship/Reporting

    5 - Stewardship Complete/Report Complete

    6 - Awarded


    I'm still unsure how we will enter reporting information.
