How to change a bad link in an email after the email has been sent?

Options

I recently sent an enewsletter with a bad link. Is there a way to redirect that link (the link is to an outside page not in Convio platform) or to change the enewsletter content after the email has been sent?

  • I've been told by Convio previously that it is not possible to fix this.  Perhaps there is new good news.  The one chance for fixing it is if the bad link was a friendly URL or "URL shortcut" in Convio terminology.  If so, you can probably redirect the friendly URL to a functioning link.

Thanks, Brian. That's too bad. Unfortunately, it was not a friendly URL but a URL to standard url to an outside page.

There's no way to change links in emails that have already been delivered, unfortunately.

Is the URL on a domain your organization maintains? If so, you could of course redirect that URL to the appropriate URL, but that would obviously only work if you want the requested URL to always be redirected.
