Export creation time into merge file

I know it's possible to query the creation time, but can you also export the time via mail merge? It appears that the field is not available in the mail merge list. Is this something that can be reported on via custom reports? Main objective was to see how many new records were created in this and last fiscal year. We were planning on exporting the data into excel so we could analyze fiscal years and month comparison.

    Report Writer has in Biographical Information and Creation Date in Valued Transaction.

    There is also a Reports Classic > Contact Reports > User List. This report lists the users registered at the site. The download file contains all fields from the constituent database.

    Note that Creation Date in Valued Transaction is the creation date of a transaction, not the constituent record.
