ECommerce Purchasers and Email Interests

I just found out that ecommerce doesn't directly support email interests in that there is no way to automatically add an interest to a store purchaser. (Individual products do support web interests.)

Is there a good trick for getting around this, aside from manually doing it with the segmentation upload and report writer reports?

    You can use engagement factors to identify who has made eCommerce purchases.  They don't map to an individual store, but it would help you identify who your purchasers are and you could create query-based groups for targeting these folks.

    Thanks! That's a good idea, but it still doesn't get them into an actual interest without the segmentation upload, right?

    ECommerce stores can actually be set to add purchasers (and large purchasers) to a group, but not to an email interest.
