How do I accept offline registrations but disable online registrations?

We have a TR event for which we need to close online registrations 1 day before the event itself takes place (in order to prep everything for event check-in). After the event is over, we'll still have a backlog of offline registrations to enter (especially for folks who register at the event itself, on paper). So we still need to be to accept offline registrations a few weeks after.

Is this possible in TR? Do we just set the status to "Accepting Gifts Only" on our cutoff date, and then after the ride, set it back to "Accepting Registrations and Gifts"? Can you do that, or do the statuses not go in that direction? I certainly don't want to Close the event, at least not until all our data entry is done. Maybe we could change the security category? That seems like a kludge though.

Our online registration closes tomorrow morning, so any help would be greatly appreciated and sorry for the late notice!

Hi Mike,

Yes, you should be able to add offline registrations even after you change the status of the TeamRaiser to "Accepting Gifts Only."

Also, yes, you can change the status of a TeamRaiser from any status to any status at any time - there are no built in logic rules to disallow this.
