Copy from Word into Notes

Does anyone know why I cannot copy a simple paragraph from a Word document into the Notes tab? Past option is available but not working. I've been able to do this forever at previous institutions, but cannot here. Ugh!

    Hi Dolli Bross‍ - What happens when you try to copy/paste? And are you using your mouse or your keyboard to initiate the comand?

    Both ways do not work.  It is so frustrating. I've become too accustomed to using Notes...they are now almost useless to me.

    You should reach out to BB Support, this is not normal behavior for the system.

    We are working with them too, with no luck. BB seems to think it is on our side, our IT thinks its a BB issue.

    Was hopeful someone here could help :-(   Thanks though!!!!

    If you save the word doc in your hosted files and open that copy, do you still have the same problem?

    We use the Remote Desktop Protocol for some tasks and that can have security settings on which limit the interoperability of the clipboard.


    Have you already tried from Notepad to Notes?


    Are you using a clipboard manager? I was using the built-in Windows clipboard history, but when it stopped working our IT found numerous online refs to similar fail, so I've since been using http://1clipboard.io/ 


    Will text copy from the Notes to Word OK?
