Sharing an email on Facebook-doesn't show conditional content

Is it possible to show conditional content when sharing an email message on Facebook?

I was able to choose from several pictures, but none of our pictures have been displaying … this concerns me.

Any help would be appreciated!!

Hi Jennifer,

I think you were sharing the preview link instead of the direct link to the message viewer email and since that link requires you to log in before you can view the page Facebook just saw that it was from your Domain name and didn't get a chance to see the page.

Try this link, it worked for me (see screenshot below):

http://stjo.convio.net/site/MessageViewer?em_id=5601.0

This is the format if you want to reproduce:

http://shortname.convio.net/site/MessageViewer?em_id=1234.0 where 1234.0 is the message id of the email message you want to share.

I don't believe it's possible to show conditional content when you're linking to an email using the MessageViewer, which is how you'd share an email on Facebook. By default, the MessageViewer version is the generic/default version. This is because conditional content depends on what Groups or other attributes a constituent has in their Constituent360 profile, and on Facebook or any other website that a MessageViewer link would appear, there's no way to tell what Groups people are in, or if they are even in your Constituent360 database at all.

Does your default version of your email have a default picture?
