RE Community and Changing Organizations

Had a question about changing organizations, but still retaining all data on the RE Community. Basically if I move from one orgainzation to another, but both use Blackbaud products (specifically RE), am I able to just move my data over to my new account using my new organizational email? In not wanting to lose all of the knowledge and resouses attained while participating with the community, but knowing that the account will be removed from the previous employer's system after a departure, possibly even before the current employer has the opportunity to get the new account up and running.

  • When I left my last job, I updated my profile with the info and site key for my new organization.  Pretty seamless.

    When I changed jobs last summer I changed the email address associated with my account before I left my first employer.  I was still able to log in to the Knowledgebase - and updated my record once I got started at my new position.  As Nicole said - pretty seamless.
