Personalizing email blasts?

Is it possible to send an email blast in NXT using a list of names and have that email be personalized by each name? As in, emails to "Dear Jane," and "Dear John," etc. and the names are pulled from a list, like a mail merge?

    HI Vanessa. Yes, you can insert merge fields in NXT emails however the list of fields that you can use is very limited. First name and Preferred name are available but spouse name(s) and Addressee / Salutation are not. Also you can't use "if, then, else" logic so if a field is blank or if you only have an initial you cannot suppress the field or use something else instead. You also cannot include consitituent ID.     Great, thank you! I read this over but still
    don’t know WHERE you select “merge fields.” When creating an email
    and attaching a list to use, where and when do I do this?

    In NXT go to Marketing / Email. Create your email. In step 2. Create you content when you edit the text select Merge / Donor and select the field you want to insert.

    It is worth creating a list with just you in it and having a play around with this feature.
