Photos in Custom Reports

in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT®: General Discussion
We have several profiles and directories that we build in Crystal Report that are able to pull in photos stored on our network drive. Since moving to hosting, I am not able to get these photos to appear in the reports when running them out of Raiser's Edge.


Has anyone  else on hosting had success getting Custom Reports to pull in photos? Would love to hear how you were able to make it work.

    Hey Corbett, from everything I know about Crystal Reports, it's easy to pull in a picture from the same LAN (network drive), but not so easy pulling across the web. Perhaps if the collection of photos isn't too large you could consider moving them to Blackbaud Hosting? I have a feeling the collection is large so this may not be an option. It may be worth trying with a small subset of photos to see if this is an option.

    I'd also like to hear about adding photos to custom reports. I'm trying to make a report of our VIPs with a bio (from Notes) and their headshot (from Media), but having no luck in either Crystal or SSRS -- they won't render.
