One sponsorship level with 2 companies paid for by 3 entities

Options
We have a corporate sponsorship program that businesses pay a once a year amount and it covers our 2 events plus annual gift. There is one group that gets acknowledged as company A & B shared sponsorship, but 3 entities pay.  For example the level is $5,000.00 with a breakdown of : $2500 for event 1, $1500 for event 2 & $1000 for annual donation. Only Companies A&B get listed as the sponsor (and they are in fact 2 different companies). They pay however in this manner: Company A pays $1500, Company B pays $1500 and the individual who is our contact for both pays $2000 and is not named/listed.

My question is this....what is the best way to enter these pledges/gifts for clean reporting? or is there a way to do it without simply having the knowledge that company A&B get the full listing rights as the $5k level? In the past I've booked 1/2 under company A and 1/2 under company B and simply applied the various payments towards those pledges and had notation in records for how to list and manipulated reports so as not to double report.
