If you have a bunch of gifts that use the same Campaign, Fund, Appeals, and Date, is there any way to freeze these fields so you don't have to enter them each time?

    The Defaults tab when you create the Batch or top row of the Batch window is where you set defaults.  Tools -> User Options -> Batch -> Default batch information is where you set how those defaults behave.

    To add to John's reply, if you will have a continuing 'bunch' of gifts for the same things, I've even created a batch template to use repeatedly with all those desired defaults. Defaults are great - a batch template saved even more time as I didn't have to enter the defaults repeatedly.


    (So excited to be back using RE after a year out.  So much more to learn about modules I have no experience with.  Questions will be coming soon I'm sure.)
