Has anyone been able to successfully send over 500 eReceipts at one time?

Hello. I am trying to determine if there is a limit to the number of gifts that can be receipted with eReceipts at one time. Has anyone been able to send over 500 eReceipts at one time?

    This is using just eReceipts in Raiser's Edge Mail.

    James, we have found e-receipts from within RE7 to be a hit or miss exercise for many years. To answer your question we have been able to send over 500 e-receipts at one time but I have to say that we have also had huge difficulty sending any e-receipts at other times. I have spent hours talking to Blackbaud about this and have never gotten any explanation about why the process just hangs for us sometimes.

    500 is a limit we've hit elsewhere, so if you're SPF-ing from your domain whose mail-server is Office 365 there's an anti-spam cap on bulk emails:

    It's meant that our press office has had to switch to a system provided by a third party, and we've been warned that even mail-merges below the limit are inadvisable, so we'll be using a workaround to message the UK General Election candidates - about 2,500 of them.

    Sorry I am late to the conversation - but we do send well over 500 eReceipts at least once each month using Mail in RE7.
