Are you doing email receipts?  IF so what is your process?


It seems Blackbaud doesn't have built in e-receipt functionality.  There's a 3 year old idea in the Idea Bank (you should goo go vote for it https://bbcrm.ideas.aha.io/ideas/CRM-I-2044 ) but it doesn't seem to have been reviewed by products.

    Hey Rick,

    I do believe this needs to be a subcommittee as it’s 2019 and the feature should be OOB for CRM. We purchased the eReceipt feature from Blackbaud in January then quick ran into issues. First, the customization didn’t even work on the newer service packs. Blackbaud did fix the feature after 3 months of delays.  We then found out it was missing a lot of field I would assume would be standard like gift amount, designation ,benefit amount, etc that request BDS hours to add in.  We are about 95% complete with the project but still missing giftamount as they want to charge us even more for it. One issue in their feature that does need to be addressed at some point is tracking of bounced emails in the process so they can be marked for re-receipt using the standard process.  I’ll be happy to discuss further.
