Philanthropic Interests table - Keep it small and high level or go big and detailed

Options
Hi all, I am looking for some advice on the Philanthropic Interests code table and it's use.

Is it better to have a small list of general areas of interest and use the notes to list more specific interests

Or

let the table have many specific interests to choose from

Do you use the data for segmentation or is it just there as a reference for the assigned fundraiser, to assist them in making decisions on what projects to put forward to the prospect?

  • Hi Bradley,

Is this question related to Raiser's Edge? If so, I can move it over to that Community out of Organizational Best Practices. Thanks!
