Is there a way to send out a series of emails that are triggered by a person taking a survey?

We want to be able to send someone a series of emails (autoresponses) after they take a survey. So, for example, 1 day after they get email A ... 3 days after they get email B ... 2 weeks after they get email C.

It doesn't look like the autoresponse function with surveys can do that. Are there any other things I can try?

You can add the users who take a survey to a group, and then set up the email series to go to that group. When you're editing the survey, there's a related action on the side called Associate Groups and Interests, and if you go in there you can select a group to put people who take the survey.

Yes, thanks, but I was hoping for a way to do it like a welcome series, but not just for new registrants. And there isn't a way to query for people who've taken a survey X # of days ago. I found this post that looks about adding custom fields for the date that looks like it is possible, but a bit complicated...:

Yes, thanks, but I was hoping for a way to do it like a welcome series, but not just for new registrants. And there isn't a way to query for people who've taken a survey X # of days ago. The query for Message # 1 looks for people who signed up a day earlier. Message #2 looks for people who signed up 9 days earlier. Message #3 - 17 days and Message #4 - 25 days. The recurring emails are set to run Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (respectively) of every week. I attached a snapshot of the query for msg 2, but I can give you them all if you like.
