OLX email creates an Appeal not Action when added to RE

I agree.  That's one of the reasons we held off using OLX for emails.  Email marketing via NXT is available, but that doesn't write anything back to the record yet.  From roadmap sessions, looks like there will be a new tile that records bulk emails.  Not exactly sure how that relates to actions vs appeal, but I believe they took this approach because there is such a mix of people preferring actions vs appeal.

I agree with all of you and I did vote on the idea. In the meantime, as a work around, rather than using the download option into an appeal, I create an excel/csv file instead. One drawback, it doesn't include the constituent ID, but I use the email address to create a query using the following criteria:


1. Phone/Specific Phone/E-Mail(our phone type) is one of and then paste the email addresses from the excel sheet 500 at a time (of course for those with extremely large lists, this is not a viable option!)


This should pull the correct records so you can then add the action as a global add. 


I also do this so I can add  an Appeal Package rather than creating a new appeal for each of our appeal e-blasts that are part of the same appeal, but a different message/package.


It would be great if the email marketing csv file included the constituent ID. Please vote for this idea I just set up since I didn't find one for it already set up:
