Players and Sponsors--one form or two?

Options
We have a youth tennis event. I want parents to be able to register their kids, but also sponsors to be able to register online as well. The sponsorships do not include players, only the business name on a the event t-shirts. Should I do one form for player registration, and a separate one for sponsors, or keep it all on one form? I'd love to hear from people  doing similar events. Thanks!

  • I should have mentioned that my questions stems more from how to word the thank-you email if I keep it all on one form, rather than it being an overly complex form.

Hi Martha - I would make these into two forms - one for registrants and one for sponsors.  That way you can easily control the options on the form and the content for the email confirmation/thank you.  I have done this at a previous organization: we had a landing page for the event that had a fun icon/button for each form (embedded with a link to another webpage that contained the individual form) - it worked well.
