Ereceipt link as a pdf attachment in Online Express

Does anyone know or found a way to have the eReceipt from Online express donation pages/events as an attachment instead of a link. Many donors don't realize they have to click the eRceipt link in order to get their tax receipt and It will be great if there was a way we could use that pdf as an attachment to the email the donor get after donating.

    If you include the field in your gift batch you will be able to access the receipt link from the donors gift record. Make sure you add the field Online Express eReceipt URL to your gift batch.


    I added all the wording in the Acknowledgement email that includes the link to the receipt that would normally go on our tax deductible receipt because there is no way to change the wording on the eReceipt. You could add a sentence instructing them to click on the link for their tax deductible receipt.

      I also have a copy of the email that is sent to the donor forwarded to me so I have access to their gift information for confirmation at gift processing time. It is a good double check if there is a question. If you really wanted to you could save a pdf of every receipt that goes out through the forwarded email. However, I feel that would be alot of unnecessary work on your part.

    Thanks Candy for the answer but that's not what I was looking for. I know how to see the pdf and I also get the copy of the email donors gets it's more for the donors, they ask me why the receipt is not as an attachment in the email they get because it's confusing to have the eReceipt link and not everyone clicks it, but when it's an attachment it's a more common practice and people are used to this.

    Candy Reichert or Ana Popescue, can you please advise me how I can set to have a copy of the email that is sent to the donor also sent to me (with their ereceipt link).  Where do I add my email?

    Open Online Express, click on Account on the top right and go to Email notifications.

    You can include multiple emails if needed.


    This has been quite helpful!!  I also have this set in BBNC.

    I do it on the donation pages I create in Online Express. Once you created the form, on the thank you tabs, there is a notification option. See attached.

    Anna you are correct, my mistake.  The copies of emails are assigned for each gift & event registration forms separately. Thanks for catching that.!!
