Is there a way for a Site Admin to delete or merge Event Categories?

We have similar categories created and we'd like to delete some of those.

Is this something client admins can do?

Nope, admins can't do this. (That would be a nice feature to add.) Support can help you with it, though.

I just got off the line with Support, complaining about this very thing. Apparently, it's STILL an issue. Users cannot make these changes, it has to be a BILLABLE SERVICE by BB professional services. Completely unacceptable.
