Robyn, it depends on if the queries you're selecting for email lists are static or dynamic. If they are static, they remain the same recipients unless you re-run the query. This can be useful if you want to preserve a specific recipient list from one communication thread to the next, without people adding in halfway through.  If the queries are dynamic, they will update themselves as additional constituents meet the specified criteria. This is nice for maintenance-free email scheduling to generalized groups.
