Form data pass through

Options
Hey Team!

Do Luminate forms automatically pass through data and autopopulate a user's information when they click to take a survey?

For example: If we have a survey link in an email, and a user clicks the email, will it populate their first name, last name, email, and zip code?

If this functionality isn't native, are there any suggestions on how we can get that set up?

Thanks again for all the help!

  • Hi, Nathan + Katie!

Yep! If you're sending the email out of Luminate via the Email module.. you can set the links to "autologin" by adding this to the end of the link:  &autologin=true

That will log in the email recipient when they click the link, and therefore should populate the survey fields if using the Constituent Registration Info question type. (If you use just a regular text field question type.. it won't autofill.)

Hope that points you in the right direction!

  • Hey Jon!

Thanks so much for your prompt feedback!

Our links have &autologin=true on them, but for some reason the information is not passing through to the survey form we direct them to.

For context, the survey we are using is connected to a pagebuilder page via API, and we are directing people to that pagebuilder page.

Could that be why we're experiencing trouble?
