Ordering designations in a drop-down

Does anyone know of a way to custom order designation options in a drop-down? I know designation types can be custom ordered, but can the designations in those types also be custom ordered? I'm hoping to put one designation at the top of a drop-down that is not alphabetically first.

There isn't a way to sort them outside of alphabetical order. This limitation is noted in our knowledgebase How do I change the order of my Donation Designations?

So if this is really important you still have a few options if you want to fool directly with the HTML or use some JS.

Scraped form. View source of your form and copy. Paste into your favorite html editor and remove your pagewrapper html code, along with any other stuff you want to remove or change. Paste into a PageBuilder form.

JQuery script in a Comment field. Something like this: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/12073270/sorting-options-elements-alphabetically-using-jquery You can do just about anything with JQuery. It's so worth picking up the basics.

A Full-On API form. This is hardest but most flexible. You can do anything you want. See LuminateExtend and http://open.convio.net
