Mail merge and actions

Hi 

Quite new to RE. 

I am using mail merge from a query to send a bulk mailing. 

I would like to add an action (mail sent) to all of the constituents in the query, is this possible without using Global adds?


So far I have completed the query, completed the mail merge, then saved and it has taken me back to RE from word, but there does not appear to be any area where I can ask it to add an action to the records from the query?

    I'm not aware of a way to add an action from the query. 


    Global add is not difficult. That's what I've used to add action/appeal/etc. Just use your query for records and enter appropriate action data. Just a few clicks and it's done.
