Using RE Event Module for tracking Board Member Meetings

I'm thinking about using the Event Module to track Board Member Meeting Attendance.  Perhaps create an Event Grouping.


We have all of our Board Members in our DB as constituents.


Does anyone currently do this?  Pros / Cons?

    We do this and our Exec Admin Assistant LOVES it.  She can "invite" the board members, they can "register" via our online events page (we use Netcommunity and that particular event page is restricted to Board Members Only).  At the event, she can easily mark who has attended using the RE Event App on her ipad.  This all integrates back into RE without any extra data entry.
