User Defined Fields

I was just wondering if there is a way to have different UDFs depending on the Name Format of the account. 

For example, if it's a business, can I have different UDFs? 


The roles that I have are 'Constituent, User and Tribute' and I know that I can change the UDFs based on those but that does not help me. 


I have some UDFs that simply don't fit in with business account but I'm not sure if there's anything I can do about it.

    Not sure if this is what you are looking for, I have several selections under account type. We have churches who are donors. They fall under the business name format. I select church as the account type. When I pull queries I can run by account type. Below is a screen shot of the selections I have under account type. Brenda

    Thanks for the response! We do have a user defined field to determine the account type but I was moreso looking for a way to customize the other user defined fields based on WHICH account type it is.


    For example, if it is a business, the user defined field would be 'main point of contact', 'business description', etc! There are just different things that we might want to note about business but will not be applicable to accounts of individuals! Hope that makes more sense!
