Anyone using a 3rd party volunteer management tool with Hosted RE/RENXT?

Hello,

We are hosted for RE and RENXT. Our class giving staff is looking into 3rd party volunteer tools like Reeher's Class Agent and Blackbird to replace a home-grown system we had in the past. They are looking for a way to allow class volunteers in particular to manage assignments, provide feedback from contacts, etc.  Is anyone using a tool like that successfully with your hosted RE/RENXT solution?  I'd love recomendations and reviews of whatever you are using.

    We use Volgistics for this. I add an attribute in RE for volunteer data - existence of the attribute indicates they are or were a volunteer, description indicates "active" or "inactive" (as determined by Volgistics), date = date last changed, and comments = Volunteer ID from Volgistics. It takes some effort to reconcile the two systems, but if you're comfortable with Excel and VLOOKUP in particular, you should be fine. Or if you have Omatic, that should do what you need as well. I think they have built out integration between Volgistics and RE specifically.

    We are getting ready to sign a contract with GiveCampus' Volunteer Management System.  The primary selling point was the ability to allow our class agents (ie, volunteers) to use the platform to see class giving, update demographic information, submit actions and email their classmates.

    Hi Kathy,

    We have implemented EverTrue. We use them for our Online Community, and now for our Volunteer Management tool as well. They allow Volunteers to select prospects, set target amounts and enter contact reports from within the tool. They see all the information that we have set up for them, Current Year Donor, Last 6 years of giving, lifetime giving, activities, etc.
