Events and API implementation questions

Hello, We are interested in adding events to our website and using the APIs to display the event information, allow people to R.S.V.P., pay for their ticket(s), and make an extra donation to a specified designation. Has anyone accomplished this using the Open APIs? They seem very limited for events and we are struggling with how to best approach this project. Any information and/or examples you might have would be most appreciated. Thank you.

The API methods available for Events are limited to listing upcoming events, e.g. creating a custom Calendar component. There are not currently API methods for RSVPing or buying tickets. Constituents can only RSVP or buy tickets on the Luminate Online event details page.

Although not the answer I was hoping for...thank you for the speedy response. Is there any chance these APIs will be enhanced in the near future so our constituents do not have to use LO?
