Adding a comment to Donation Form

Options
We have created a General Donation form with several options/funds for people to choose from... cardiology, oncology, etc. When people choose Cardiology, I want to add some additional clarification about how their funds are being used...

Any tips on how to do this?

I do not think you can have a gift attribute field appear conditionally, however if you are okay with a field appearing on your form for every choice a "Gift Attribute" field would work perfectly.  The only down side is attribute fields have a limited number of characters so if the explanation is too long the constituent will be unable to include their entire message.  I cannot remember the exact character limit but you should be able to look it up quite easily in KnowledgeBase.

  • Great idea Austen – thanks so much!
