Hello,


This question is for my fellow higher education institution colleagues: how does your institution define alumni? We've seen everything from only those who have graduated from a program, to those who have attained a certain number of hours, to those who have taken a course here or there.


I'd love to hear how your institution handles this!

    FWIW below are the definitions for Alumni from both CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) and CAE (Council for Aid to Education). My take away is that CASE leaves it up to your organization to define Alumni however you want, but CAE is specific with their standards for the VSE report..
