TGIF!

We're receiving wealth screening data through a consultant, so I'm seeking your suggestions on best practices for integrating this into RE. We are hosted and have 7.96. I've found a couple articles in KB, but really want to learn from your experiences. I don't want to import the data only later to conclude......I wish I'd done it differently! Do you use the ratings section? Attributes? Another location? Do you convert the codes/data into a different format (text, tables, numbers) for ease of use later? So MANY questions! I welcome your input.

Hi Leslie,

Hmm..hard to answer without seeing the tables/ data. Do you have the prospect management module?

That's where we store our wealth screening information, we have Blackbauds Research Point & Raisers Edge integrated.

Leslie, we currently have the Prospect Module, but prior to purchasing that module, the orgnization did a screening and stored the ratings results in Attributes. Not sure how the ratings fields work without the prospect module, as I've always worked with the Prospect Module. With Attributes, it is good to use the Comments to explain the rating, noting if the rating is based on unverified information and anything else that might be helpful to someone in the future. Hope this is helpful.

When you do not have the prospect module the other place this kind of data usually gets dropped, unfortunately, is in constit attributes

We have the same question. We want to find a way to add wealth screening information to the record while being able to easily see that they are flagged as a screened record. We also want to be able to record what segment of the screening lists they were on (i.e. planned giving, $1m+ capacity etc.) We use BBCRM and our screening information is in excel.

Any tips would be appreciated!
