7.96 and the upcoming TLS changes

Options
Good Afternoon,

My organization updated to RE7 7.96.6401.4 in our locally hosted environment last year and we have been told we need to be at the newest build to avoid interruption in service.  I emailed our account manager to get a quote on assistance with this but he is apparently rather busy as he is usually pretty fast with responses.  If we cannot get this done by next Wednesday, what are the implications for our service and should we brace for downtime?

There has been a LOT of confusion about this because of poorly-worded statements from BB, but my understanding is that ANY version of 7.96 should be TLS 1.1 compatible.

I second John's response.  From all of the TLS compliant docs I've been reading, any 7.96 version is compatible.  Could it be they meant the newest Patch?  Patch 8?

Thank you both for your responses!  I certainly appreciate the advice:)
