How do you enter gifts from matching grant organizations?

I just received a check from Travelers on behalf of one or more Travelers employees and was told to go online to cybergrants to see info on donors (if available). Donors had chosen to remain anonymous.  What is the best way to enter this gift into RE?

    It's matching funds -- the company that matched is not listed in the info online?  If it is, then the funds should be recorded on the company's matching gift record.  Since they the individual is anonymous it just means that there will not be a soft credit to record. 

    If the company is anonymous, then enter the funds under an record that is called Anonymous.

    employees that donated via their matching gift program. How or
    where would I enter their info?

    Hi Kathy,


    When we get a matching gift we create a matching gift pledge on the original gift from the donor.  This then creates a matching gift pledge on the individual donor's record as well as the matching gift companies record.  When the check arrives from the matching gift company, we enter the name of the company in the batch and from there you can apply it to the appropriate matching gift pledge.  This then creates a matching gift pay-cash on both the company and individual.  Hope this helps.
